| Program note: |
| "Konrinzai" literally means "The edge of the golden ring/circle". According to the old Buddist legend, the golden ring existed under the land, and this symbolizes the end of the world - deep in the earth where one will never reach. The composition explores the limits of resonance and de-resonance in sonic timbre, physical frequency, historical reference, and eternal memory; just like a golden ring on your finger. |
